At the beginning of this year the Tourist Association of Ivano-Frankivsk region was held a familirization visit for tour operators from Romania, Slovakia, Lithuanian, Poland and Eastern Ukraine. Within 5-days-trip to Ivano-Frankivsk region participants have visited the recreation areas of Yaremche, Verkhovyna, painted Kolomiya, and charming Ivano-Frankivsk city.

Finished second shift of tent city "GORYTSVIT2010: EUROCARPATY", which is located near the village Osmoloda of the Rozhniativ district of Ivano-Frankivsk region.

"Carpathian jungle" - so called the shift that took place from 5 to 17 August and was intended to reveal tochildren the world interested in geological and geographical features of Europe and the Carpathian region. The camp "GORYTSVIT" provided a unique opportunity to unite in an active dialogue and made healthy children in crisis categories of Ivano-Frankivsk, Lugansk, Kherson, Crimea, Ternopil. Children discover the world full of adventure, interesting surprises, new information. Interactive rest which included a combination of family atmosphere, physical rehabilitation, development of intellectual andcommunicative abilities, gave a good start for the disclosure of individual of each child.

The first change camp "GORYTSVIT2010: EUROCARPATY" which was the symbolic title "Inside the Labyrinth of the past", united, become friends, made healhty and distracted from the hustle and bustle of city children from Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Ternopil, Kherson regions.

Tourist Association of Ivano-Frankivsk Region has completed contestant of tent camp which will be held within the project "Summer camp" GORYTSVIT2010: EUROCARPATY " supported of anticrisis humanitarian program International Foundation "VIDRODJENNYA"

15-16 July 2010 in Yaremche held a conference "VeloKrayina" - the birth of European tourism ", which summed up our first project. The conference was attended by more than 80 people - and not just with the Carpathian region, but also from Kyiv, Chernihiv, Volyn and even with the Autonomous Republic Crimea!

Tourist Association of Ivano-Frankivsk region and Fund of new ideas "Society Eco-Art" are invited the children 11-17 years to participate in the competitive selection for the summer tent health and educational camp "GORYTSVIT: EUROCARPATY".

May 20, 2010 in the European hall of the hotel "Nadia" (Ivano-Frankivsk, Nezalezhnosti Blvd, 40) was held the initial workshop "Ivano-Frankivsk region in European culinary heritage network focus."

On April 27-29, 2010 in Yaremce city was held educational workshop "Promoting local government for tourism development", organized by the Ivano-Frankivsk regional center for retraining and raising skills of public authorities, local governments, state enterprises, institutions and organizations for Hanns Seidel Foundation' supporting. On April 29th the workshop participants have visited Ecotourism Visit Center of the Carpathian National Nature Park (CNPP).

On November 10-13 the experts delegation of Tourist Association of Ivano-Frankivsk region and Center o9f social and business initiatives (Yaremche city) took part in the global tourism exhibition ITB Berlin.

In the December 17/18, 2009 in Yaremche of Ivano-Frankivsk region have passed the Carpathian international ecotourism forum. This event concludes the project "Transfrontier tourism development and promotion network in Ivano-Frnkivsk, Ukraine and Maramuresh, Romania". It implemented by the Tourist Association of Ivano-Frankivsk Region from July 2007 and funded by the European Community under the Neighbourhood Programme "Romania-Ukraine".
